Pen & Paper
A simple pen and paper are enough for most of the day’s activities. Writing on paper is excellent for imprinting memories in my brain, and I keep information better when I write. The BIC pens have never let me down, and I have used them since primary school.
Ear Defender
I use the 3M Peltor Optime III Ear Defenders when I’m reading or studying. Yes, I like quiet time when I need to focus. There are moments I have some kind of Lofi music in the background, but for serious work, nothing like an ear defender. Silence is still “gold”.
Phone
The phone has become the de facto tool on an everyday basis. Like my Math teacher once said, “one day this device will be all you need to get a job and to run your life“. And he was right. Apple iPhone 13 Pro is still a great product, especially for video footage. Aside from this, I own an Android phone for personal use. I still own a Nokia 3320, for regular phone calls and messages. Great to focus.
Laptop
I have several laptops, but for heavy-duty work, I use an HP Probook and a MacPro 2023 16″ daily.
Tablet
I use a Samsung Galaxy Book 12” for reading and studying when necessary to stay current with new technologies.
E-Reader
I read a lot, and the Kobo Glo is where I read most of the books I have liked in the last 10 years. It’s a very good product. For physical books, there’s nothing like holding them in my hands.
Mouse
A simple Microsoft USB mouse is more than enough for me.
For Writing
I use MS Word and Scrivener for writing. I have used Scrivener for almost two years now, and I enjoy writing in this application. Word is still a great way of writing my books or creating content for several platforms. Grammarly is my go-to application for helping me with grammar. Still, reading does help a lot.
